Speech Language Pathology

Preparing you with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to be effective, efficient, and ethical professionals in a diverse society is what Nazareth’s Speech Pathology Graduate Program is all about. From individualized programs to meet your specific interests, to extensive hands-on clinical experience, you’ll gain knowledge and practical skills to evaluate, treat, and advocate for individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

The program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology.

Credit Hours:

The program requires a minimum of 42 credit hours of course work and 10-12 credit hours in clinical practicum for a total of 51 semester hours.


Schedule Options:

A part time option is available based on individual advisement, and an extended program option is available for applicants who have not completed the undergraduate prerequisites for graduate study in speech language pathology.

With a greenhouse and aphasia clinic right on Nazareth’s campus, speech-language pathology students gain clinical skills while helping underserved adults with aphasia in the Rochester community.
